Picalla Agrotourism’s design emerges from the earth where it sits. By utilizing local resources and materials, the  structure interacts with its context without competing with it but rather acting  as an extension of it. To emphasize this organic connection with it surroundings the building uses materials such as natural wood, earthy bricks and roofs, which are a typical architectural element of the area.

A translucent glass structure acts as a bridge connecting the two main buildings, each of which has a different purpose.

In this manner, the floor plan develops as a linear area, and the flow of movement is from east to west.
