Tomorri Hotel
The silhouette of Tomorri Mountain serves as the source of inspiration for Tomorri Hotel. As a result, the existing building blueprint and its facade are utterly altered, creating a new volume that gives the surrounding area the feeling of a new building. By doing so, we demonstrate the true power of the place and the building’s historic significance.
The new façade uses an earthy tone, while the existing slabs create a movement that not only changes the way we perceive the façade itself but also redefines the center of Berat. The hotel’s blueprint now includes a brand-new addition: an undulating circle that evokes the flow of the Osumi River as it flows through the city. The new building houses the hotel’s new pool and has an eye-catching green façade.
The two buildings, which were created to compliment one another, stand for the ideal combination of old and new, mountain and river, making the Tomorri Hotel a rediscovered icon in Berat’s downtown.
